Aboriginal Summer Program for Youth in Recreation (ASPYR)
Through the Aboriginal Summer Program for Youth in Recreation (ASPYR) Program, the Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association works in partnership with Aboriginal communities to train Aboriginal youth leadership skills. With his/her new skills, the youth is able to provide recreation programming in their own Aboriginal community.

Our Legacy - First Nation, Métis and Inuit Archives Online
The University of Saskatchewan Archives launched "Our Legacy" last month, providing access to material relating to First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples, found in Saskatchewan institutions. Although less comprehensive, the site also includes some published (library) and artifactual (museum) material.

This guide is designed to help Canadians undertaking aboriginal genealogical research in the archival documentation at Library and Archives Canada. Part I of this guide provides background information on how to research aboriginal ancestry in records located at Library and Archives Canada. Part II of this guide offers step-by-step strategies for using the Library and Archives Canada Internet site for doing aboriginal genealogical research.

The Circle of Aboriginal Heritage and Knowledge is cultural institution whose mandate is to serve all Canadians by protecting, promoting and making accessible Canada's documentary heritage. This web site provides access to a full variety of Aboriginal resources within Canada, both through Library and Archives' collections and services and in partnership with First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities, associations, language and cultural centres, universities and libraries.
