About
Sask Sport Inc. came into existence when the provincial amateur sport community realized there was a need to work together to develop common programs and fundraising initiatives. From a dozen organizations at its founding convention, Sask Sport Inc. has grown to more than 70 active and affiliate members, representing more than 300,000 registered participants throughout the province.

Funding
Sask Sport Inc. operates Saskatchewan Lotteries as the fundraiser for sport, culture and recreation through a licensing agreement with the Government of Saskatchewan. Proceeds from Saskatchewan Lotteries are deposited in the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund for Sport, Culture and Recreation. Volunteer committees from Sask Sport Inc., SaskCulture Inc., and Saskatchewan Parks and Recreation Association Inc. adjudicate all requests made to the Trust Fund. Sask Sport Inc. offers a wide range of funding opportunities that support the growth and development of amateur sport in Saskatchewan. Funding is channeled through eligible Provincial Sport Organizations who support extensive participation towards excellence.

Aboriginal Community Sport Grant
The purpose of the Aboriginal Community Sport Grant Program (ACSGP) is to provide greater sport participation and development opportunities for Aboriginal youth in Saskatchewan, especially youth living in urban, rural, on-reserve, isolated and northern communities.

Aboriginal Excellence
Aboriginal Excellence aims to develop and prepare athletes for the North American Indigenous Games, the Canada Games and other provincial teams through talent identification and training programs, competition opportunities and coaching advancement. The goal of the program is to create a dynamic and leading edge sport environment that enables Aboriginal people in Saskatchewan to experience and enjoy involvement in sport to the extent of their abilities and interests and to perform consistently and successfully at higher competitive levels.

The Aboriginal Coaches and Officials Program
The Aboriginal Coaches and Officials Program (ACOP) is organizing training and developmental opportunities across the province for Aboriginal peoples to become involved in sport as a coach or an official. The program consists of: Introduction to Coaching Workshop, Aboriginal Coaching Modules, Introduction to Competition: Part A, NCCP Sport Specific Clinics, Officials Clinics and the ACOACH Program.

Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan (CSCS)
The Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan (CSCS) provides a comprehensive range of services for athletes and coaches, covering all aspects of life - both inside and out of the sport world. Our programs and services are divided into three streams: Performance Enhancement, Support Services and Life Services to enhance overall development, providing world-class athlete and coach services.

Coaches Association of Saskatchewan
The Coaches Association of Saskatchewan (CAS) is a membership organization of coaches managed by a volunteer board of directors representing all aspects of coaching. As a member of Sask Sport Inc., CAS is eligible to receive grants from the Sport Section of the Saskatchewan Lotteries Trust Fund. These grants, combined with self-help revenues, are used for managing coaching programs and services in Saskatchewan for all coaches from all sports and for the administrative costs for the office, staff and programs.

KidSport™
KidSport™ is a Children's Charity dedicated to assisting children of families facing financial obstacles to participate in community sport programs. The KidSport™ goal is to provide these children with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of teamwork, dedication and responsibility through participation in sport.
